"Zuccotti Park sits at the heart of Lower Manhattan, making it a perfect place to bring the community together to kick off the winter holidays,” said Debra Simon, Vice President and Artistic Director of Arts Brookfield. "The effect of thousands of lights throughout the park's trees is magical, and we look forward each year to sharing the spirit of the winter holidays with our neighbors." The ceremony is part of a month-long festival of holiday celebrations that will include the return of Santa's Winter Garden to Brookfield Place on the weekend of December 5th – 7th, bringing free festivities and an opportunity for kids and adults to get their photos taken with Santa.
