We naturally want to protect our children,and a good way to do this is to improve theirconfidence in and around water and teachthem to be water safe.

1. Spot the dangers Water may look safe, but it can be dangerous; learn to spot andkeep away from dangers. You may swim well in a warm indoorpool, but that does not mean that you’d be able to swim incold outside water.

2. Take safety advice Special flags and notices may warn you of danger. Know what the signs mean and do what they tell you.

3. Don’t go alone Children should always go with an adult, not by themselves. An adult may be able to point out dangers or help ifsomeone gets into trouble.

4. Learn how to help You may be able to help yourself and others if you knowwhat to do in an emergency.

Konfidence the Company – Who, What, Why?

Way back in the last century (1996 to be precise) our founderAndrew Regan had his hands full with three small children who lovedthe water. With safety being a priority, and non of the boys liking thetraditional armbands to keep afloat, Andrew set about finding analternative. In 1998 the Original Konfidence Jacket was born and abusiness founded on its principles – to make a trip to the pool orbeach safe, fun and comfortable as possible.

Since that day, every item we have made has been designed andproduced with this in mind. Whether it’s a baby’s first swimminglesson, a splash around the pool with mum and dad, a beachholiday, or an adult learning to swim, we have the products to makeit an enjoyable experience for all.

Konfidence was, like many great advances, born out of necessity.

Working with experts in the swimming industry we have nowcreated the most comprehensive dedicated Baby Swimmingrange in the industry, whilst maintaining our core principles.
