PURUS Line is placed on thesurface and the height is adju-sted by PURUS support.

Connect to the drain. The instal-lation is attached to the reinfor-cement with steel wire.

The PURUSsupport maybe nailed or screwed to the surface.

IMPORTANT:Leave the protection plastic onduring cementing!

Enclosed brackets for PURUS support are mounted on thechannel, with one bracket on each side of the channel.

For a channel length of 1000 mm, an extra bracket is

fastened in the middle.

On rough concrete bed, the mounting can be fixed with cementunder the gully (fig. B).

Alt. 2. Cut in portionWhen the drain pipe is moulded, make a cut-in portion in the mould form, which is approximately 5 cm longer and wider than Purus Line.

When the concrete isset, Purus Line isplaced in the holeand connected to thedrain pipe. Fill thehole with concrete.

PURUS LINE is installed on the samelevel as sealing/tanking layer.

The membrane is trimmed with a sharp knife.Use the inner edge of the channel as a ruler and cut offsurplus cloth around the entireopening.

Installing the gully part

The gully is fixed with six nutsand washers.

A separate mounting spanner isenclosed, attached on the bottom of the channel.

Ensure that the gasket between gully and channel

is in place before assembling!

It must beinstalled flat

Tighten all screws except thefour long ones. They are adjust-ment screws for the tile frame.

Adjust the height of the fourscrews (6 on length 1000 mm). Range: 11-16 mm.

4SURFACE LAYERS MUST BE CONNECTED TO PURUS LINE ACCORDING TO GUIDELINESOF THE SUPPLIER.

The sealing/clamping layer (1) is mounted according to thesupplier’s directions. The clamping frame is mountedafter the sealing/tanking layer.Position the clamping frame andpierce holes for the screws withan awl.

The sealing layer can be a flexible foil or a liquid-basedmaterial. Check with the selected manufacturer.

After adjusting the height, turn the frame upside-down and fill the frame-edge with tile adhesive to get it extra stabilized.

Then turn the frame back andinstall it.

NOTE: When installing, the wholeframe around shall be filled withadhesive.

Tiles

Tiles are installed. Join the tileframe with flexible grout.

Check list● When choosing the position

for mounting, remember theneed for easy access for cleaning of the channel andwater trap.

● Purus Line must be installed horizontally.

● Purus Line’s surface must be on the same level as the finished floor, i.e. flat and in level with flooring material/ tiles and not on falls.

● Tiles must be connected to Purus Line according tonational standards.

● Surface layers must be connected to Purus Line according to guidelines of the supplier.Follow national standards.

● Do not solvent weld waste connections.

The wall rail is placed on the thewall and fastened with screws inlevel with the ready-casted floor.

NOTE! The upper edge of thechannel will be 1,5 mm over theedge of the rail.

The gully is connected to theoutlet pipe.

2 It must beinstalled flat

The brackets are mounted on the channel.

Oval holes in the bracket allows adjustment.

The channel is installed by pres-sing the brackets down in thetracks in the wall rail.

The big holes together with theslideable brackets gives goodadjustment possiblities.

Re-adjustment is also possibleas the angle-brackets can slidein the track of the rail.

Installation of TILE

IMPORTANT: The height of the frame is adjustablefrom:* 15-23 mm with the screws M5x20* 15-29 mm with the screws M5x25

Installation of the channel part isdescribed in the earlier chapters for every type of flooring.

This chapter describes only what isspecial for the tile-frame TILE.

TILE differs from the other frames as follows:

● The tiles shall be put in the lowered area in the frame.

● The TILE frame is more narrow and shorter compared with the channel and the other models of frames.

Fix the tiles with adhesive that fastens to stainless steel.

4 Flexible grout

1. Lift out the water trap, shown by picture (1).2. If necessary, rinse the water trap under water

see picture (2).3. Replace the water trap.

Hold the water trap with the spring loaded bodyopen whilst rinsed clean. Alternatively use a brush.

Make sure the gaskets are completely clean for awatertight fitting as possible!
