Filigree but strong - the HAPS A300

The well thought designed universal door hinge for aluminium doors

appears in modern butt hinge optics in a 2 and 3 part version.

A simple assembly enables the direct screwing without backing plates –

this guarantees reduced assembly times and costs for almost all installation

situations. For this door hinge the covercaps are also fixed with a clip.

Clip fixture: Press, secure with an Allen key – done.

The tilting of the door leaf is prevented by the support pin.

No hinge offset through linear horizontal adjustment.

Practical adjustment options with just

one tool. With few actions, a convenient

3D adjustment can be made accurately

with a 5 mm Allen key.

Drilling, positioning,screwing

Fastened directly - Finished directly.

Well thought out assembly technology that saves time and reduces costs.

Direct screwing system

Using the jig the 10 mm holes for the screws

and the 6 mm holes for the support pins are

drilled fastly and precisely. The profile should

have a wall thickness of at least 1.6 mm.

Then place the hinge part onto the

profile and fasten the screws.

The support pins prevent tilting

of the door leaf and position

the hinge to the profile

during assembly.

Fastening with backing plates

By using the precise drilling jig, the

holes can be drilled quickly. The

backing plates are inserted and

fixed using the springs flush

over the drilled holes. Then

position the door hinge

and screw it to the

profile.

AssemblyNotes and technology

3D adjustment of the 3 part A300

The adjustment is similar to the 2 part A300, see

page 5 for more information. The fixture of the

excentric bushing for pressure adjustment in the door

leaf section (1.) requires a positioning pin.

After adjustment the positioning pin will

be removed and the clip cap will be fixed.

Strong and offset – the HAPS A300-S

The HAPS A300-S completes the proven

A300 series. The new hinge with a stag-

gered pivot point carries sash weights up

to 160 kg – ideally for narrow frames and

offset profiles.
