OUR EVENTS

Our young members are fearless adventurers and one of the ways we encourage them – and you – to take on new challenges is through our four national Activity Centres: Blackland Farm, Foxlease, ICANDO and Waddow Hall.

Every centre caters to both day and overnight stays, while offering something slightly different – from abseiling and canoeing to crate stacking and sightseeing.

Whichever you choose, you’ll always find a wide range of activities and challenges to suit every age and ability, so wherever you are in the UK, there’s an Activity Centre just for you. Find out what we can offer today.

In addition to our programme of events, you can use our Activity Centres however you wish. Whether you’re planning a small sleepover, a large–scale camping trip, a training event, or you simply need a place to stay while you explore the local area, our centres make an ideal destination.

at one of our centres!

The Baden–Powell Challenge Award is the ultimate achievement for Guides. In order to complete the Award a Guide needs to take part in a Baden–Powell Adventure – a chance for her to try something new, learn about the next stage of her Girlguiding journey and celebrate the completion of her Award with her fellow Guides.

For a Guide to attend one of these Adventures, her Leader will need to approve her application and the Guide must show that she has nearly completed all ten Challenge clauses.
