About usSwedish design, quality, and environmental awareness is present in everything we do. Our design team closely collaborates with ornithologists and technicians in order to ensure that our products are as functional and practical as possible. Every item undergoes rigorous quality testing, is produced under controlled conditions and is carefully packed in an attractive display box. In order to ensure the longevity of our products, we also provide replacement parts.

Our philosophy is that quality is a combination of well-designed products, careful production, and long-term relationships. We strive to ensure that our customers and suppliers feel confident in us, our products, approve of our business and production practices, and enjoy working with us. By developing long-term rela-tionships with our suppliers, and maintaining frequent and systematic contact with them, we ensure that the quality of our products is upheld. In addition, we promote an understanding of, and follow-up on our code of conduct, which in turn contributes to their employees’ well-being in the workplace.

We have dedicated a section of our website to feature information about wildlife. If you wish to learn more about birds and other animals, we provide a variety of information such as different bird sounds and informa-tion about where and when you can find them. We hope that our online Bird School and Living Garden will awaken an interest in nature and an appreciation of our natural world.

We have supported WWF financially as a member of the WWF Corporate Club since 2018 and will continue to do so. In addition to our regular donations, we also organize several activities that generate funds for WWF.

Our family of hand carved hooks is growing with new African and Australian series as well as the adorable panda hook. The collector’s series De-coBirds has new additions of American, Australian, and European species. Our brand new tablecloth weights with pretty floral motifs are introduced for the first time in this catalogue. Our cottage shaped bird feeders and our new stake for elevating the torch light holder will brighten up your garden. You will also find our hand carved magnets with animal and bird motifs.Each product group is shown with a packaging photo and all items that have not yet been present-ed in our catalogue are labelled as news, even if they have already been on the market for a while or shown in product leaflets.In order to make things easier for our customers, we try to ensure the same order in the catalogue as in the price list. Houses and FeedersOur playful bird houses and feeders are created for small birds with great focus on functionality.

Our products are developed in collaboration with ornithologists and each model has been rigor-ously tested to ensure functionality. The feeders are designed so that small birds easily reach the food while sitting correctly to minimize contamina-tion. We have also tried to reduce food waste and make it difficult for large bird to sit on the feeder. The bird houses are designed so predators can’t reach inside, and with slots that make it possible for the chicks to easily climb for flight training when they are big enough.

Offering birds water along with food is important because the dry seeds make the birds thirsty. If there is water nearby, the birds can quench their thirst and do not need to look elsewhere in order to drink. The roof, where the water container is located, is made of durable, frost-resistant plastic. The bird feeder is mounted on a pole with the provided screws.

Here, there is the possibility of supplying four different types of birdfeed, everything from suet balls to peanuts, sunflower seeds and insect cakes. The greater the variety of the feed, the greater the variety of birds that will visit your feeding station. One species also attracts another. The seed chutes are well protected from rain and snow which, apart from meaning that the small birds can perch ”with dry feet” to enjoy their meal, also has the secondary benefit that larger birds such as jackdaws and magpies have difficulty landing to eat.

Bat Castle Many bat species live in holes in tree trunks, but as there is a lack of old hollow trees, boxes are a good alternative. The bat caslte should be placed three to four meters above the ground with free sight and access to and from the exit hole in the bottom. Hand CarvedCollection

All our hand carved products are carved and painted in Manchuria. The wood carvers are local farmers with a long tradition of carving in wood when not working in the fields.

In the photo series we follow the creative process of a DecoBird Wren. A rough outline of the shape is carved out of a single piece of wood.

The artist then uses considerable skill and preci-sion to carve the shape and details of the bird. A beautiful yet unique likeness takes form.

And finally, another artist paints the wren with precision and care.

Just as birds and animals in nature are unique, so are all our hand carved products. The small differ-ences make them even more realistic. Since they are in demand and quite popular, we let our range of hand carved products grow. We regularly visit our production facilities and new products are developed in close collaboration with the wood carving artists. We discuss ideas back and forth in order to develop our interpretation of the charac-ter of the animal into a natural yet artistic repre-sentation. The same group of artisans have been carving for us for several years, and our close collaboration is the foundation for our sustained high quality.

DecoBird - Hand Carved BirdsDecoBirds is a series of life-like figures of wild birds, artistically hand carved out of wood and beautifully painted by hand using only eco-friendly paints. They are depicted as realistically as possi-ble, even their size. The birds are grouped in sec-tions based on size and geographical distribution.

In addition to our range of European birds, we now also have North American and Australian birds. Each DecoBird comes with an educational leaflet which describes the bird, how it lives and its habi-tat. In the catalogue you can also learn where in the world the species can be found.

Setting up a slug trap is a simple and non-toxic way of getting rid of unwelcome damaging slugs from the garden. This trap is also a decorative fea-ture in the garden. Make a hole in the ground and place the trap so that only the ”house” is visible above the ground. Fill the plastic container with a little beer to attract the slugs. When they enter the house, they fall into the beer and drown. These slugs are actually called Spanish slugs but have received their nickname killer slugs due to the fact that they are cannibals and eat their own species. This means that once the first slug has entered the trap and died, others will soon follow. When the container is full, it is easy to empty. The product is design-protected.
