If you did not attend our 33rd Anniversary Dance, you missed a wonderful event! Our club started with a small group dancers who wanted to"dance for the fun of it.” They met at various night clubs in Indianapolis to “dance for the fun of it!” Little did they know that the club would be going strong after

33 years! So, congratulations to Indy Dancers, and thanks to our founders for a club that is still going strong. Their spirit continues in all of us who want a place to dance with great music with dancers at all skill levels! We are also a very generous group! We have helped sponsor the annual Ballroom Bash that bene-fits Special Olympics Ballroom of Hendricks County. Also this year, we helped to raise money for Kids Dance Outreach during our April 26 dance. We had a great turnout for this event! Hopefully, we played a small part in changing the focus of many kids from a life without hope to one with hope that will take them into adulthood. Also, get ready for a Springtime-full of dancing! We have the Black and White Race Party on May 24

and of course, our Luau on Saturday, June 18th. I also encourage you to become involved in the club. Nothing is more fun and rewarding than planning activities and/or serving as an officer. so, let’s have a party to celebrate! Wear your race gear or the colors

of the checkered flag! Don’t miss the fun, friends and great music!

Mark your calendar for our best Luau ever!! Back

by popular demand this Luau will be inside, but the

brats and hotdogs will be grilled outside!! We will

also serve baked beans, coleslaw, pineapple and

watermelon - all your favorites!! Also, dueling DJs

Don and Roger will have the best music to dance to.

Oh Chris, the bartender, will offer fruity island drinks!!

And there will be other entertainment surprises you won't want to miss! So, dig out your

Hawaiian shirt or grass skirt—we will have the leis for you! This party will be a blast!!
