Food storage and refrigeration

4th - 8th grade Most homes in the world today have refrigerators. Can you figure what people did before refrigerators were invented? Learn and explain how food storage is done at homes and in large scale storage facilities.

• If you do not have refrigerator, how will you keep the food fresh?

•How does a conventional refrigerator affect the environment? Suggest some ways to reduce the problem.

•Explain how eco-fridge and solar powered refrigerators work.
