• No difference in male & female choices

The Food we Eat

• High % Females don’t eat red meat

• High % single males eat processed food daily

• Not much difference in other categories

Cooking Skills

• Interesting to note that women were more likely to term themselves excellent 7 versus 2 men

• 14 said they were good & only 2 OK

Confidence & Recipes

• Only 2 said they can’t cook

• Only 3 can’t follow recipes

How did you learn to cook

• Predominantly learn from family member

• More women said family member & more men said school

• One women self taught

National & local dishes

• The most popular by far was Irish Stew which was seen as healthy

• No great difference in men & women
