Versatile Batch Mixer

This 45 cubic foot paddle mixer was custom designed for toll blending a variety of proprietary food recipes. The machine efficiently mixes powders, granules, pastes or slurries. The paddle style agitator can mix fragile ingredients like nuts, fruits and vegetables without breakage. All internal surfaces are ground smooth and polished for easy cleaning. The 304 stainless steel construction is corrosion resistant. High speed choppers are available for incorporating minor ingredients or size reduction of lumps. The one-piece cover is hinged with a pneumatic actuator and simplifies operation by ensuring the lid forms a dust tight seal when closed. This mixer is ideal for mixing a wide variety of recipes and batch sizes.

Jacketed Cooker Mixer

This 30 cu foot, custom-fabricated, stainless steel paddle-style mixer with cylindrical trough is ideal for blending a variety of dry bulk product applications with liquid additive dispersions. It comes equipped with an integral-dimpled jacketed trough baffled for hot oil, hot water or steam and includes an external insulation blanket for superior temperature control. It also includes a 316 stainless steel spraying system with fluid-driven, clean in place tank washing nozzles, (2) liquid inlet ports, thermal well ports and drains located at each end of the trough. Polished welded arm/welded blade agitator paddles and bolted end plates allow for quick and convenient clean-out and maintenance. For safety, we provide fabricated, flanged inlet covers with grates and safety locks.

Coloring & Drying Batch Mixer

This rugged, carbon steel industrial mixer features bolted-arm, field-adjustable paddle blades with high yield colorant and drying system. A powerful 17,000 BTU forced air, thermostatically-controlled, wash down-rated and corrosion-resistant heater with high-intensity 10 HP blower dries material within 5 minutes of batch cycle. The coloring application includes a dual color metering system consisting of two SP-15 peristaltic pumps with 300 gph maximum capacity. Also includes hosing and suction wands for drum extraction and adapters for tote pumping. The system is powered by a 1½ HP 460V TEFC gear-motor with dual output shafts. An automatic control system coordinates the color pump timer cycle by batch.

Flexible Food-Grade Sanitary Mixer This 30 cu foot, paddle-style mixer with variable frequency drive is custom-designed for flexibility. A real workhorse, it can be used in a wide variety of applications where product versatility is important. It includes a high speed chopper for controlled, high shear mixing and comes equipped with a liquid spray manifold to incorporate both solids and liquids. Added electric controls provide mobility for relocation anywhere within the production facility. The variable frequency drive for blending fragile ingredients slows down the shaft speed by 50% to prevent damage. The pneumatically actuated knife gate also allows the operator the ability to meter the product into totes. Sanitary Mixer for Baking Ingredients

This 40 cubic foot mixer was designed for toll blending a variety of proprietary food recipes. The ribbon- style agitator is excellent for blending low density, free flowing materials. Two inner spirals move the product away from the discharge, while the two outer flightings move the material back toward the actuator-controlled discharge opening. There are no gaps in the flighting to interrupt product flow and create "pockets" of stagnant material. All internal surfaces are ground smooth and polished for easy cleaning. The 304 stainless steel construction is corrosion resistant. The additional high-speed chopper motor was added for size reduction and dispersion of liquids via a spray manifold system with (4) nozzles.

Sanitary Lab Batch Mixer

This 15 cu foot, custom-designed paddle-style mixer is ideal for blending granulated materials. It comes equipped with an electric, actuated tilt-tub which provides 120° of rotation from vertical and infinitely positionable through the range of rotation. The chopper motor and drive motor are disabled once the tub begins to tilt. As a sanitary, batch mixer our design will meet your FDA quality standards. Cylindrical Tank - Paddle-Style Mixer Mixing Under Pressure

This carbon steel cylindrical tank paddle-style mixer was designed for pressurized mixing of an application subject to heat by its temperature-controlled jacketed heat vessel. Custom Designed Sanitary Mixer for Plastics Industry

This 30 cu. ft. standard batch paddle mixer with sanitary finish stainless steel was designed to blend plastic pellets and pigment @ 40 pp cf. Durable Industrial Mixer for the Chemical Industry

This industrial batch paddle-style mixer with durable, carbon steel finish was custom designed to mix detergent pellets for diesel additives at a 60 cu. ft. mixing capacity. Sanitary Batch Mixer for the Beverage Industry

This stainless steel, sanitary batch mixer was designed for drink mix applications. The U-shaped trough has a 100 cu. ft. mixing capacity and 10 ft. long by 42" in diameter interior. Other features include cover with bag dump system with grates/switches/air pickups, welded arms and welded paddle blades.

Paddle-Style Mixer for Processing Tea Mixtures

This industrial batch paddle mixer blends flavored tea products at 20 cu. ft. density. Product is mixed with (6) welded, paddle blades for superior trough wall scraping, producing excellent blending between batches. This mixer also features a liquid

spray manifold. For maintenance, the end plates are flanged, bolted and seal welded for easy access.

Continuous Process Mixer for Hydrated Rice & Flavored Oils

This food processor chose Marion to custom design a continuous mixer to blend hydrated rice with flavored oils. The paddle-style stainless steel, food-grade mixer features a liquid spray manifold system to coat the product at up to 3.0 cu.ft. per moment mixing. Product is discharged through a 6" Salina vortex valve discharge with actuator.

Sanitary Mixer for Tobacco Industry

This 30 cubic foot sanitary mixer was designed to evenly disperse liquid flavorings onto a leafy food product without degrading the ingredients. 3600 of the cylindrical trough design is wiped clean by the rotating paddle style agitator, thus eliminating unmixed pockets of materials. An integral dimpled jacket is used to heat ingredients to improve flavor. The flavored ingredients are then cooled within the same vessel before being discharged to the packaging line. Vinyl protected insulation is fitted around the trough and end plates to conserve energy. Clean-in-place tank washing nozzles are inserted through tri-clover fittings in the top of the mixer to sanitize the machine between batches. Sanitary Mixer for Flavored Coffee

This standard batch, stainless steel mixer was designed to blend ground flavored coffee with a bulk density of approx. 20 lbs./cu.ft. The semi-cylindrical-shaped trough uses a 8" flanged inlet for product feed, SS bearing plates, gussets and tubular support frame. Also includes a liquid spray manifold system for flavoring the product, and an actuated contour slide gate discharge valve.
