font choices

We have been looking at a variety of fonts which we could use for the poster and magazine and the trailer. For the poster design Shannon was going to use Calibri body however it is on word and therefore it is an everyday ordinary font where as she decided to look around and found the font of Trajan Pro. She used Trajan pro as it fitted our horror theme. The text is original and was found online. Shannon believed choosing this text will benefit us as it is conventional. She used this font throughout the text as she wanted to keep continuity and consistency for my work. For the magazine design I was going to use Gypsy curse, for ‘Our little secret’ as I thought it was effective and creepy. Gypsy curse is available at http://www.1001fonts.com/ . However I didn’t use this font on our final magazine design as I thought it looked a tad odd compared to the rest of the text, I finally decided that it didn’t fit our look as the magazine look. Overall the fonts we have chosen to use look professional as they are suitable for the horror look we are going for. We are pleased with the outcome of our poster and magazine designs and are happy with the fonts we have chosen, we might have been able to find more suited fonts

Page 1: Font choices

Gypsy curse is available at http://www.1001fonts.com/. However I didn’t use this font on

our final magazine design as I thought it looked a tad odd compared to the rest of the text, I finally decided that it didn’t fit our look as the magazine look.

Overall the fonts we have chosen to use look professional as they are suitable for the horror look we are going for. We are pleased with the outcome of our poster and magazine designs and are happy with the fonts we have chosen, we might have been able to find more suited fonts however we believe we have chosen right with the ones we have decided to use.
