Please bring only homemade lantern that you have designed & prepared, submit it to one
of the KCI Committee member on event day before 6.30pm, judges will select the best
lantern and will give prizes. We encourage everyone to participate in this competition.

Be your favorite Bollywood star- If you wish you can dress up like your favorite
Bollywood star, for an example - you can be Sridevi from “Chandini“, or Rani Mukherjee
from “Bunti aur Babli” or Deepika Padukone from ”Om Shanti Om” or like Dev Anand ,
Rajesh Khanna, Sharukh Khan or Anil Kapoor. The choice is yours.

Diwali Brochure to be Published:- This year during Diwali event we are publishing a brochure for KCI activities and
updates, including sponsors advertisement, greetings & compliments. We also want on this circular to publish 2
articles- first topic (a) written by our Khambhati members (can also be written in Gujarati) and second topic (b)
essay written by our Khambhatis children. Please encourage your children to write and participate for this contest.
a) Significant memory or History of Khambhat, which you want to share.
b) What does Diwali festival mean to you? Its significance on Indian culture.
Criteria for writing these 2 topics:- Each of these articles will be max of one page only. It should be hand-written,
not copied or published from Internet. Please submit these articles in MS-Word Format, including writer’s name,
address & your high quality scanned passport size photographs on this email-id- [email protected]
on or before Oct-15-2016.
KCI Committee will evaluate the best article and will reserve all rights to make final decision to publish on Diwali
