FOLLOW-UP ACTIVITIES For Year 5 and 6 Instructions Print all the pages. Page 2 is used on its own as a starter or for the less able children. Use pages 3 to 6 for reading activity – matching pictures + writing and then put in chronological order Suggestions on how to use 1 – Photocopy pages 3 to 6 as appropriate. InstructionsPrint all the pages.

Page 2 is used on its own as a starter or for the less able children.

Use pages 3 to 6 for reading activity – matching pictures + writing and then put in chronological order

Suggestions on how to use

1 – Photocopy pages 3 to 6 as appropriate. Please note that there are 3 sets of pictures on pages 5 and 6

2 – show Powerpoint called “Story in chronological order”. Encourage pupils to explain what is happening using pictures for clues. What French words do pupils recognise? Can they translate each slide.

2 – When this is done, give each child Pages 3 and 4 and their set of pictures (from p5+6)

3 - Pupils to cut out all the pictures

4 – Pupils read the text, put the pictures in the correct place and stick them

5 – Pupils cut out the cards with the writing

6 – Pupils organise them in chronological order and stick them in their book.

7 – Use Powerpoint with story in correct order to correct with pupils.
