USA may not apply elsewhere. While I am a firmbeliever that we all work similar and for the samegoal, how we get there may vary by agency.Hopefully by the next issue we will havesomething to share with the members.
We are always looking at the technology side ofcommunications and training so if you haveexperience in creating web sites, blogs, orproviding online training we would like to hearfrom you to help us in the 21st Century!
Our current online course for the Patrol Officer asa 1st Responder at crime scenes has been asuccess and continues to receive extremely goodevaluations and comments. I wish every agencywould make it mandatory for all the uniformedofficers to complete. We receive nothing from it soit is not a financial gain for us. I am hoping in 2017we will be able to produce more free ones PLUS acouple of courses that will require a small fee.
If you have not considered being “Certified” byICSIA as a CFCSI, Certified Forensic CrimeScene Investigator please consider it. We have afew currently going through the process. Onceyou have gone through the process you will be abetter CSI for it. I can guarantee it is not an easytask but one that will make you stand out from therest. Please review ithere, http://icsia.org/FCSI/index.htm
The world is getting to be a rough place so becareful out there, watch your back and stay safe….. we need you!
