How often do you use social media? Not often, usually about once a week.

Which social networking sites do you use? Facebook.

How did you use social media to get further involved in the games? I liked the GB Facebook page, and shared their posts. I also regularly posted pictures and status’s recording my Olympic experience.

(He also volunteered as a London Ambassador during the games.)

How did you use social media to get further involved in the games? I liked the London 2012 page on Facebook and followed some of the athletes on twitter and saw what they were thinking about their experiences. Also tweeting my own opinions of the events.

I believe that my secondary audience would

be people who perhaps did not get involved at all with social media during the games, or maybe just did not get involved in a positive way. I believe my documentary will affect them as it will weigh up both the positive and negative affects of social media in the games, and so if they did not use it in a positive way they may feel like the minority and ‘left out’ and may encourage them to be more active for other popular events.
