fmm ns/socso seminar on total chemical management 22 - 23, 202… · management procedures at the...
TRANSCRIPT
Introduction
Chemical users/handlers are highly prone to chemical
hazardous exposures . They have a ‘Right-To-Know’ of
their exposure to all the chemicals and scheduled
wastes involved, as per stated by Occupational Safety
Health Act 1994 and their regulations. They must be
fully aware, trained and provided with sufficient
personal protective equipment and engineering-
controlled devices to reduce their hazardous exposure
levels. It is also essential to control entrance of
unregistered chemicals and establish total chemical
management procedures at the workplace.
