AS Film Studies FM1 Creative Project Brief

• To work in a group (max 4) and produce a short film sequence Details

• 2 minutes approximately in duration

• Between 15 and 25 shots

• Each group member will be responsible for a different micro aspect: cinematography; mise-en-scene; editing; sound. Performance is not permitted as a ‘role’ for this exercise

Tasks

• Create a ‘treatment’ for your film sequence. This should provide context and focus for your film.

• Create a storyboard. You can then use this as you shoot the sequence.

• Agree on times and locations for the shoot

• Edit the sequence using i-Movie. Additional effects can be added using Final Cut.

• Add sound to your sequence. You should use Garageband or Logic to for this.

• Submit work.

• Write a 750 word evaluation Deadlines Task Deadline
