Speculation is mounting that Dundee Utd are keeping tabs
on Hibernian striker Damon Gray as manager Billy Davies
looks to expand the squad at Tannadice.
United are reported to have made the striker one of their
top transfer targets.
Hibernian are today delighted to announce that full back
Kevin McCann has signed a new contract. The deal will
keep him at the club until 2014.

A spectacular goal from Lee Miller sealed the win for
Aberdeen this evening.
Aberdeen never looked in trouble against a surprisingly
lackluster Hibernian side.
Wednesday 15th December
Celtic drew 1-1 with Manchester Utd at Celtic Park. Celtic
took the lead but Man Utds Nani scored in the 82 minute
to cancel it out. Celtic narrowly missed out on 2nd place
but did finish third.
Thursday 16th December
Sky Sports News understands that Hibernian striker wasabsent from training today without permission. There has
been no statement from the club regarding the matter.

St. Mirren 0 - 1 Hibernian
Hibernian produced a solid display to overcome St. Mirren.James McCarthy put in a man of the match performance
which saw him scoring the only goal in the 90th minute. It
could have been different however as St. Mirren had a
claim for a penalty turned down in the 81st minute.

BBC Sports understands that both Hibernian and
Blackburn Rovers have been in talks over a January move
for striker Benni McCarthy.
McCarthy has struggled to hold down a regular start at
Ewood Park and may move on in the hope of first team
action.

There was little festive cheer for St. Johnstone fans asthey saw their side taken apart by a rampant Hibs team.
Hibernian dominated from start to finish and really should
have scored more goals. The first came from a Rob Jones
header. Hibs were 2-0 up before half time thanks to an
own goal from Andy Jackson.

St. Johnstone did manage to pull a goal back thanks to
Lewis Young but substitute Daniel Galbraith scored Hibs
third in injury time to seal the win.

Monday 27th December
Hibernian confirmed today that striker James Brown will
be out of action for up to 4 months with a torn calf muscle.
Brown has made 13 appearances so far this season
scoring 4 goals.
