+ Review of Last Week1. The Highest Place is Discipleship, it comes higher than having

money.

2. Wealth has a responsibility, to take care of the poor! (The Gospel is the solution to poverty). Money is a resource.

3. Those who have money will find it difficult to enter the kingdom of heaven. God is looking for Stewards

4. No man by being kind, nice or following the law can be good, you can only be good by being filled by God!

5. The return on investment for plugging into God’s agenda is 10,000% + Perpetuity

6. A time is coming when Jesus will rule on the earth, and those who will rule with him, are those who have sacrificed for and identified with him. (joint heirs)

7. Eternal life is not a function of good behavior or following law. It’s by following Jesus!

Key Paradigms to Study!

Rejoice at God’s promise like someone who finds great spoil Ps 119:162.

Seek for God’s word like Silver, search for it like it’s hidden treasures. Prov 2: 1-4

God’s word has transformational power. Rom 12 :1-2

We derive life and sustenance from God’s word. Deut 8:3, Job 23:12

God’s word does not return void. It prospers! Is 55:11

This is the constitution of the Kingdom I belong to!

This is a living document, capable of transforming my life. The words are spirit and life.

When I read God’s words, I cannot stay the same.

As I read today, I discover hidden Secrets

God’s word is a hammer – it breaks my resistance, A double edged sword – it judges my thoughts and attitude, A fire – consuming what is not right, A lamp and light – showing me the way, A seed –growing in me to bring forth harvest, Food – nourishing my spirit, A mirror – keeping me in check and shape.

+ Lessons from Jesus1. Watch out for Hypocrisy, appearing to be close to God when

your heart is far away from Him.

2. Ensure you live like an open book. Everything hidden will ultimately be out in the public.

3. Fear God! Fear who is sending you, not to whom you are sent. Fear the one that can do more than kill you! Be eternity minded

4. Your worth is not a function of performance or what others think. God places value on you, you are on his mind. If you are His.

5. Biggest Deal! Be a witness for me, and I will be a witness for you. Deny me, and I will deny you.

6. Because we are God’s we have no basis for fear or worry. To rid yourself of worry, understand whose you are.

7. If you witness the right way, you will be brought before decision makers. God will give you what to say!

+ Lessons from Jesus8. Our Intelligence and eloquence is not sufficient as a witness,

the Holy Spirit would help us. Prepare and wait for the Holy Spirit.

9. How to Deny Jesus – hope no one things we are his disciples, decide not to speak up for what is right, be silent about our relationship with God, blend into society, accept our culture’s non-Christian values.

10. How to confess Jesus – live a life that honors Christ, look for opportunities to witness, help others in need, love others, take a stand for justice, acknowledge our loyalty to Christ, use our lives and resources to carry out His desires rather than ours.

11. There is a sin that is unpardonable! It’s the sin that destroys the conscience of a man, leads him along a path for which he will not seek repentance. It’s a sin against the one who is able to convict him of SIN – The Holy Spirit.

In the Midst of the Talk of Eternity – Expect men to be focused on temporal and life transactional things!

+ FM Lessons from Jesus12. The Good life has nothing to do with possessions – beware of

covetousness! The Good life is a function of relationship with God, and doing His WORK!

13. Don’t be derailed by advertising culture – to be more, buy more. To become more, be rich towards God!

14. Planning for retirement – preparing for life before death is wise, but neglecting life after death is disastrous!

15. Have a concern for helping others, lay up treasures in Heaven.

16. We are challenged to think beyond earthbound goals (retirement, security, expensive toys) – use what you have been given for God’s kingdom. Be rich towards God!

17. Specially for Disciples – Life is more than consumerism, more than things.

18. There is no basis for worry, only faithlessness.

19. Anxiety is a product of greed and covetousness. Be content.

+ FM Lessons from Jesus20. Reasons not to worry – It can’t achieve anything, God loves and

cares for us, He promises to meet all our real needs.

21. If God cares and provides for Ravens and Lilies, relax!

22. We are a nation! That’s an intense paradigm we all need to understand. Don’t see what other nations seek.

23. Make God’s kingdom your priority, and all needs will be additions. You cannot out-give God!

24. Seeking God’s Kingdom means – Making Jesus Lord and King, Giving God control of all, Jesus is not an app, God becomes your need, guiding you to all else.

25. Money must never be your end, the real value of money is how much of it, can be used for God’s purpose.

26. Does your money free you to help others? If your goals and possessions hinder you from giving generously, loving others -serving God. Then sell what you must, to put your life in perspective.

+ FM Lessons from Jesus27. Find a way to push your money, where you want your heart to

go. How can you change the way you use your resources in order to reflect Kingdom values.

28. Then Jesus begins to talk about Eternity, and Preparing for His second coming!

29. Blessed is the Man, the master shall find so “doing” – What are you doing?

30. He that knows the masters will and doesn't’t do it will have greater punishment that he that doesn’t know and doesn’t do. Both will be punished! Knowledge unused is the most perilous of possessions.

31. Division before peace. Notice the times and seasons, reconcile with God, be found with Christ!

1. Everybody must have something to do. If you don’t have anything to do, this is your perfect opportunity.

2. No competition within groups, if two of you do the same thing, then recommend another group.

3. Each group becomes a registered group when they become 21 – 1/4/16. Before then you will be a Pre-Core Group.

4. The driving force for each group is LOVE! The willingness to out give to others! (Acts 20:35)

5. Meetings will happen on Sundays and Thursdays at 7am at different locations for different groups.

6. The Brother’s Keeper groups will break off from the SGM –Small Group Meetings.

1 Thes 5:12-18

12 Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. 13 Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

+The Way He Wants You to Live!

12-13 And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love!

13-15 Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part. Our counsel is that you warn the freeloaders to get a move on. Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out.

16-18 Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.
