CuttingAll strips are cut across the width of the fabric.

From each of the 24 fat eighths, cut• (1) 3 1/2˝x6 1/2˝rectangle

From the brown print (FGEE 949 K), cut• (2) 2 1/2˝x24 1/2˝strips• (2) 2 1/2˝x22 1/2˝strips• (3) 2 1/2˝xWOFbindingstrips

From the cream print (FGEE 945 Y), cut• (4) 3 1/2˝xwofstrips; sub-cutinto(48)3 1/2˝squares

Block Assembly1. Drawadiagonallineonthewrongsideofeach of two 3 1/2˝creamsquares.Placeonemarked squarerightsidestogetherononeendofa 3 1/2˝x6 1/2˝printrectangle.Sewonthedrawnline.Trimseamallowancesto1/4˝,andpressthetriangleopen.Repeatontheotherendtocompleteone 3 1/2˝x6 1/2˝unit.Makeatotalof(24)unitsusingtheremainingprintrectanglesandcreamsquares.

Quilt Assembly2. ReferringtotheQuiltDiagramforplacement, sewtheunitstogetherintosixrowsoffourunits each.Pay close attention to the direction of each unit.Pressrowseamsinopposingdirections, thensewtherowstogethertocompletethe 18 1/2˝x24 1/2˝quiltcenter.

3. Measuretheverticallengthofthequiltthrough thecenter.Trimthe2 1/2˝x22 1/2˝stripstothis measurement.Sewthesestripstoeachsideofthe quilt.Pressseamsawayfromthecenter.Measurethe widthofthequiltthroughthecenter.Trimthe2 1/2˝x24 1/2˝ stripstothismeasurement.Sewthestripstothetopandbottomofthequilt.Pressseamsawayfromthecenter.

4. Layerthequilttoprightsideupontopofthe battingandwrongsideofthebacking.Bastethelayerstogetherandquiltasdesired.

5. Sewthe(3)2 1/2˝xWOFbrownprintstrips togethertomakeonelongstripandbind.
