    Project Objectives

    *get to know each other, our history, traditions andenvironment. Get to know more about our routine,life at school and life at home. Initiate friendshipsor at least an interest in our pupils to communicatewith their partners from the other schools

    *develop an awareness of the relationshipbetween people and colours through stories,songs, painting

    *encourage creativity through poetry, writing,acting, art, music, science experiments etc

    *take care of the environment and make ourneighbourhood greener

    *get our students more active citizens

    *encourage Ss practise foreign languages andlearn foreign languages

    *improve ICT skills

    *get students and teachers travel

    *foster mutual respect and tolerance, eliminateprejudices, xenophobia, racism

    *get aware of and appreciate diversity

    Our approach is many sided.

    We intend to engage the curiosity and interest of

    our pupils with the support of various activities

    which encompass very different skills so that all

    pupils will be enthused and motivated from the

    most academic to the less academic.

    That is why the planned activities cover a wide

    range of skills.

    We want to take advantage of this opportunity toincite learning for a purpose and thus raise ourpupils motivation for school.Encourage cross-curricula planning.

    We aim to challenge the lack of motivation for

    learning foreign languages of many pupils.

    ActivitiesStudents create questionnaires and exchange e-mail addresses, introduce themselves, their schooland local communities through video diaries.

    Each school researches own colour symbols andcultural elements and exchange/compare theirfindings with partner schools.

    ICT skills will be developed through the use ofcomputers and internet to store/send the data we

    need to share.

    Ecological challenges will be approached throughdiscussion as part of the science/geographycurriculum.

    We will plant trees and flowers at each school.

    Results and OutcomesCarrying out the project activities during 2years time we will achieve the followingoutcomes:

    Common project website

    "The EuroRainbow Cookery Book", abooklet collecting recipes from all thepartner countries

    "The EuroRainbow Multilingual Dictionary"with useful words and phrases of partnercountries' languages, "EuroStone Album",an album with pictures of coloured stonesand minerals of each country

    "Season Diary", a calendar gatheringphotos of a tree or a park and a river inown town of each partner taken once amonth from September 2011 to June2012

    "From the sea to the land, to the people",a booklet dealing with colour symbolsfrom the Mediterranean area. Countriesfrom this area send their own contribution.

    "The EuroRainbow of Schools", a bookletincluding presentations of each school,city, country, activity and photos of eachproject meeting

    Editing and publishing the project DVD

    Updating Website and Comenius Cornerafter each project meeting

    Organizing school conferences for sharingexperiences and impressions after eachproject meeting; writing articles for theproject website and local press

    Trgovite
