His practice focuses on patent portfolio strategy and development, patent prosecution, IP diligence, competitive analysis, clearance to market studies, and patent validity and infringement opinions. Previously, he has a Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Material Science and Engineering and bachelors from University of California, Berkeley. Kuangshin has authored numerous scientific publications appearing in journals such as Nature Materials, Nano Letters, Journal of Biomechanics, and Tissue Engineering. Robert Plotkin is a patent attorney specializing in patents on computer hardware, software, and Internet technology. Attorney Plotkin has nearly two decades of experience obtaining patents for clients ranging from individual inventors to multinational corporations including Hewlett Packard, 3M, and Tata Consultancy Services. Previously, Attorney Plotkin taught an advanced course on “Software and the Law” for six years at the Boston University School of Law, where he had previously obtained his law degree after obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT.
