All of us aim at doing something different all the time - to be ahead in the race, to be a leader, and in doing so we tend to forget the most important things in life.

What if an opportunity comes by your way where you are a part of something different, something unique, somewhere where you will always be remembered as an Institution of Leadership and lastly, will be focusing on the most important things in life.

In our lives, be it Individually or Institutionally, we all believe in being a part of a cause and believe in supporting them. How about being a part of something which not only supports a cause but attempts to work on those causes to eradicate them?

Most of us only talk about problems but only a few of us really act upon them. It’s very Important for us to act on these problems now or else the Future of our children is not going to be the same as we dream of. To keep that Dream Alive, to see the light of tomorrow’s day, let’s be a part of the Global Awareness music video, Fluids of Life.

Fluids of Life is an Initiative of Vineesha Arora-Sarin (founder, NY Studios) that aims at giving hope to erase these problems permanently and is an Initiative which is supported by NY Studios’ team of Individuals who plan to work closely on the project - crew, actors, musicians, leaders etc.

WATER

• Water is the most Important Natural Resource which is becoming a scarce resource.

• 97 % of earth’s water is in the oceans. Only 3 % of the earth’s water can be used as drinking water.

• The average person in the United States uses 80 to 100 gallons of water each day. During medieval times a person used only 5 gallons

per day. • Over the last 50 years the human population has nearly

tripled, while industrial pollution, unsustainable agriculture, and poor civic planning have decreased the overall water supply

BLOOD

• What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word BLOOD? We guess the 3-letter word “WAR” if not “HOSPITAL”.

• How much time does it take to donate blood? In totality it would less than

watching 1 English feature film, does that ask for too much. • How many times do you donate blood? Trust us it can exceed more than 4

times a year and that is not much considering the social gatherings one attends whole year round.

• Let the rivers be full of water rather than blood.

MILK• The very first thing that we were fed upon when we arrived on

this planet.• How would it feel if your child was deprived this fluid which grew

you up?• Milk may not be the scarcest of resources, still, our children

should not ask for it, but get it, It’s their BIRTHRIGHT.

OIL

• Its integral role in human civilization cannot be overestimated - without it, modern life would be impossible.

• Petroleum powers 96% of the transportation on the planet and is the key ingredient in plastics and fertilizers.

• Countries are ready to shed blood of their soldiers and gain supremacy by becoming the supreme suppliers of oil.

• What is he protecting??… “You” or your “OIL”??

REACH

We plan to showcase the music video all over the world mainly through music channels as the primary medium, along with Mobile Network advertising.

We want to tie up with Global players on every front in marketing, sales, and advertising as we have to cover the project globally. We will spread our message through prestigious film festivals and we start our project by having our premiere at The Sundance film festival, Jan 2010

I pain, therefore I write:

My biggest reason to turn filmmaker is to make a difference to a mindset and to the world we live in. I would like to be known as the one who made the difference. Sure. Who doesn't? But I wanted to be proactive. I love it when I watch a beautiful film or song on screen and it moves me to no end. It transports me to another world. A world of Truth and Hope. It's funny how one has to escape reality to find the Real. Why is it that in contradiction, we find Truth? Because Truth exists in the realm of "experience." We have to go through everything to rise above it all. To become One.

"Fluids Of Life" is a project borne out of anguish and sympathy. Hatred and love. And many such contradictions. There is so much of ignorance in this world. And it is a desire of most people to hide behind it. Let's face it. Not many people like to take responsibility, unless push comes to shove. The world out there is bleeding and I pain for it. We pain for it. And we pay for every wrong action we take. The oldest adage in the book I can recall that still holds merit - "What goes around comes around." It pains me to see where the World is headed. And I feel sorry. Sorry for those who sin all their life, but at the End, they want salvation. Ha! Come on. Did you really think it was that easy? Nobody wants to WORK for salvation anymore. Not even if their whole life counts on it!

What have we become, really? Techno-crazy machines! More like machines who love machines. Where is the time to work on a relationship? To stop and care a bit. And yes, to smell the roses every once in a while. How many more disasters will it take to awaken our souls? To get us to do something meaningful with our lives?

DIRECTOR’S NOTE

It's strange how the very "fluids" that we're made of or make us - milk, oil, water and blood - and which are necessary for survival, have become our enemies today. These fluids are killing us, too.Think about it.

Milk - or figurative for "food" - how many people are dying of hunger today? Of famine? Look around. The numbers are staring at us.

Oil - no need to mention the ongoing war and terrorism caused by it. What about the lack of oil? No kerosene in poor countries to make food. Look around.

Water - the most essential fluid of our lives has been made to turn against us. Contamination caused by bottled water. What about the lack of water? Drought. Farmer deaths. Look around.

Blood - how much violence is out there today? How many homicides, suicides, killings, acts of terrorism are out there? Look around. The numbers are staring at us.

These most essential fluids of Life, ironically, have been the cause of so many deaths a day.

Through this project, I want to make people aware again of this fact. Of this irony, rather. Maybe then, somebody, anybody, may wake up from hibernation. If not, maybe I'll look back and know that I, that we at NY Studios, did something to make a difference.
