Its been a long time coming. I've been waiting to say this for

quite some time. Flow Factory is now officially a part of the Digital

Grime Family! We're so excited to bring you this online

magazine/newsletter that will feature the best and brightest up and

comers and reviews around.

This month we're reviewing Skyzoo's The Salvation and The

Breax Restocked 1.5 album (Christian emcees take note!) both of

which are great starts to our premier issue and bring back a breath of

fresh air (not to mention hope) to a Hip Hop game in desperate need.

When I first heard Skyzoo's previous work on the Hall Of

Justice's collective mixtape: Soldiers of Fortune I knew I located

something special.

Skyzoo pours it all out on his debut album The Salvation

painting a picture of an everyman like no one else could. Its dangerous

territory as the word smith describes the temptation of hustling in trackslike For What its Worth along side typical joints like Easy to Fly bu

even in these cases Sky's penchant for intricate word play raises the bar

effortlessly.

and old school hip hop in a blend that's a perfect match to Skyzoo's

portrayal of the rise, hustle and struggle or a truly starving artist.

You won't find many ready for radio tracks on this album, but

that's okay. Pieces like Dear Whoever make it clear that this album is

cut from a different cloth and the fit would be a little too uncomfortablefor the average broadcast. Its so far to the left that it may loose some

listeners but for those tired of the same old thing in their players,

Salvation may be just what the title implies.
