Page 1 of 2 Media Contact: Kevin Kent, [email protected] Florida FFA Announces Winners of 2013 Agriscience Fair Orlando, Fla. – Florida FFA is pleased to announce the category and division winners of the 2013 Agriscience Fair. The winners of this event were recognized at the 85 th Florida FFA Convention and Leadership Conference this past June. The event was coordinated by Dr. Andrew Thoron. The category and overall division winners received awards sponsored by MB Management 67, Inc. and Farmers Cooperative, Inc., as a special project of the Florida FFA Foundation. The competitors in the Agriscience Fair conduct a scientific research project pertaining to the agriculture and food science industries and then present their findings to a panel of judges with a display and report. The fair is separated into six pathways in which FFA members can exhibit, including animal systems, environmental services/natural resource systems, food products and processing systems, plant systems, social systems, and power, structural and technical systems. About the Florida FFA State Convention The annual state FFA convention is truly a week that absolutely everybody should experience. FFA members come together to celebrate the achievements won by the past and present generations of agriculturalists, while continuing to develop their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success.
