The Family
DaddyI can’t tell you daddy how many tears I’ve cried,
Since the day I realized my precious Dad had died.It seems like a dream, although I know its true,As everything I see around reminds me of you.
You have been here for seventy-three years,Fifty-two belongs to me.
Now you are gone, but will forever be seen. The days we spent together,
Walking in the woods, standing on the pier,Are gone, but will not be forgotten.
Daddy, you are gone,But I will not say goodbye.
For you will always be with me.You will always have a special place
In my heart and mind.

a love like this - 51 years“it Was Time To let Go” It was time to let you go. I didn’t know how and I didn’t know why. It came so quick and left me in awe. I didn’t want you to suffer; So I had to come to grip and say it was time to let you go. It hurts within, but I remember all our laughterand grins. It was time to let you go, but through every day I will grow. I will take each and every day at a time. Only time will heal as I continue to do the Master’s Will. Our love was great, I know you loved me and you knew I loved you. But as time came, I knew it was time to let you go. God loves you best and He leaned the best to me. Now that the time is here, I will still hold you close and dear. Now you are free with Him, how happy a good time it will be.
