The motif is retrieved from a goldfish pond in a greenhouse in Glasgow. The glazing bars in the greenhouse roof are reflected in the water surface and the grid is broken up into an organic pattern. The sky, the roof, the water aswell as the goldfish in the water are all represented in the flat surface of the picture.
