A flip-flop of the soggiest soils of Argentina drying and some of the driest soils of Brazil wet-ting is expected for the last week of January into the first week of February. What about the rest of February? Take a look/.
As of this morning...storms during the previous 24 hours dotted S and SE Brazil and were heaviest in North and Northeast Bra-zil. Argentina was dry again except in portions of the South.

New GFS modeling continues to show adequate 10-day rain totals for Para-guay, S, C and NW Brazil. Limited rains, but some, show in South, West and North Argentina into Uruguay and
extreme S Brazil. Drying will be seen in far NE Brazil and C and portions of S Argentina.
