Background
First read about Carl Fisch, algebra teacher in Denver in September 2010.
Attended Educon Conference in Philadelphia at end of January, and took part in conversation
Began to watch YouTube videos and explore blogs of other educators and began a Twitter discussion.

Why Flip?
Allows students to watch lessons multiple times, pause, and rethink.
Allows students to take in information at their own pace.
Students work together with instructor to solve problems and ask questions during the allotted class time.

Limitations
All students must have online access
Students must watch lessons at night, or they’re lost and confused during the day.
