Festive Shopping Week - FAQs

1) When is the Festive Shopping Week happening?The Festive Shopping Week offers will be visible to buyers from Oct 10 evening to Oct 16. However, in order to avoid any confusion we need you to participate in offers from Oct 10 itself.

2) Which sellers can participate in the Festive Shopping Week?The Festive Shopping Week is open to all Marketplace sellers.

3) On which product categories will Flipkart offer discounts during Festive Shopping Week?The Festive Shopping Week will see discounts across all categories. You can check the Flipkart Promotions under Promotions tab on your seller portal for more details.

4) Will there be any change in the returns policy for the Festive Shopping Week?The regular returns policy will be applicable during the Festive Shopping Week.

5) What kind of offer constructs will be there in the Festive Shopping Week?To see all the offers for the Festive Shopping Week, please check the Promotions tab of the seller portal.

6) Can I participate in an offer even if the status shows ‘Disabled’?Yes – you can participate in an offer with the status as ‘Disabled’ as long as the offer End Date is after today.

7) Will our account be made pending on overload to RTS or Overload to Dispatch?The normal rules for order processing and order limits will apply. There is no change in the process.

8) What is the deadline to opt in for the offers and will the stock files be freezed post opting in?There is no deadline to opt-in but we strongly urge you to opt-in on Oct 10 as early as you can, so you can participate right from the first day of sale.

9) Can we add new listings exclusively for mega sale? If yes, what will be the TAT (Turn Around Time) for QC?Yes you can add new listings. The TAT will be the normal TAT for adding new listings. We encourage you to participate in the offers with existing listings

10) In the Festive Shopping Week sale, will the discounts be on MRP or Flipkart Selling Price?It will depend on the offer type. For participating in offers like Flat and Minimum off, you have to provide the required discount as per the offer to participate. For other offers like Basket Discounts or Extra X% Off, once you opt-in, the discount is applied on the selling price.

11) In Festive Shopping Week sale, promotions will be of MRP Discount or Basket Discount?Both. Please check Flipkart Promotions under the Promotions tab of your seller portal for promotion details.

12) Promotions will be brand-wise or category-wise?It can be both. Please check Flipkart Promotions under the Promotions tab of your seller portal for promotion details.

13) Will Flipkart share the discount percentage with sellers?This will depend on the specific offer. Please check the ‘Discount Share’ field in the offer details page. For example, a Discount Share of 20% means that you will bear 20% of the discount and Flipkart will bear 80%. A discount share of 100% means that you will bear the complete discount.

14) Can sellers opt-In and opt-out during the Festive Shopping Week sale?Yes - you can opt-in and opt-out as per your need. But we strongly advise you to participate in the offers to ensure that you see a significant spike in sales.

15) Will be there be any rebates on commission during the Festive Shopping Week sale?We will communicate to you shortly if there are.
