What are the advantages of use Skype for learning English?

First of all, the student can practice English with a real native speaker, in a

real situation; you can talk face to face. Another advantage is that the

student in class, starts participating more, because he feels more confident.

Is an opportunity for the teacher, to see if the students are improving their

English. The pronunciation and vocabulary improves a lot with Skype.

Do you think that Skype has some problems or disadvantage?

They have to do with technical problems. The problem here in the university

is that, the technical support must be improved. And the other one is

important to have a technician that helps us always. Another problem is

when sometimes there isn’t a plan that helps students. The idea is that in

the class, the students and the teacher plan the guide. Skype is god and

works with a good technical support. The skype sessions would be with

students from university, because they are some topics that they are not

allowed. That’s a big inconvenient.

How much time have you been using Skype?

Like for years. But sometimes, we don’t have enough time to work with the

sessions of Skype.

Do you think that this practice improve the English level?

Yes definitely. For me it would be much better if we work with skype all the

semester.
