•Flip to Wiki

Turn on your Flip Camera, push the record button, and record your

subjects.

Open the USB connector and plug it into the computer.

Select Save to the computer!

Choose create a movie.

Select the pictures and add them to the movie. Now choose full length or magic movie. A magic movie will

take pieces of each video and create a movie out of segments.

Now the movie or magic movie is created, and you will click next to add

a title and credits

Click on the black boxes and create the title and credit for your video. Click next!

Choose music from the computer or your library. You can also choose how loud the

sound will be. Choose next!

Now create the movie!!

You will see the movie being created in the bottom corner. It will take a few minutes, but it

will be worth it.

You now have a video! Next we need to convert it to a .WMV file using Any

Video Converter.

Download the free version from anyvideoconverter.com .

Choose add video and open your newly created video.

Make sure your video option is WMV, and then choose convert.

The converted video will appear in a new window. I have named my folder

WMV

Now open your wiki to insert the video.

Under pages and files, you choose the folder you want the video located in

and create a new page.

Name the title of your page and create the page.

Now go to your newly created blank page, and type a message to go with

your video.

In edit mode, choose insert, video, and then upload video.

You will now browse and find your video to insert.

Choose the correct file and open.

Now accept the terms and submit the video. It will take a little while to upload.

Be patient! (If you are at home it may take quite a while!)

When your movie is finally uploaded you will insert the plugin.

The movie will be displayed as uploaded video. Now make sure you

save!

Your video is now made and inserted in your wiki. Invite your students to

share with their parents.
