flight planning program. In addition,
we offer two graphical user interfaces
to these programs. Boeing Perfor-
mance Software (BPS) is designed for
use by performance engineers and
offers easy access to our programs.
The Boeing Laptop Tool is designed
for use by flight crews and offers the

Planning and Performance Manuals,
as well as the Performance In-flight
and Performance Dispatch informa-
tion found in pilots’ quick reference
handbooks and operations manuals.
Airplane Flight Manual
We prepare the Airplane Flight Manual
and obtain regulatory agency approval.
The Airplane Flight Manual is the
authoritative source of information
(operating limitations, operating
procedures, performance information,
etc.) necessary for certifying the airplane
at the level of safety established by the
airplane’s certification basis.
