LINE UPWhen to Use: this defense works well when the offense is spread out, throwing short passes, and running a lot.

COVERAGE AREA

The rushers should rush outside in and keep the quarter back in the middle of the field. The corner backs do not let anyone get behind them in their zone, as they are responsible for the deep routes along with the safety.

LINE UPWhen to Use: this defense works well when the offense is throwing deeper routes and is not running the ball often.

COVERAGE AREA

The rushers should rush outside in and keep the quarter back in the middle of the field. The two safeties are responsible for any deep route. This defense not designed to have a three man blitz.
