Race Penalty – What?The calculation to determine the PENALTY takes into account the FIS points of the best 5 racers in the race.

It spits out the comparative skill of the winner against the best in the world.

If I could explain the formula I’d be Doc Brown dangling from a chairlift.

So, whats the point?Take the penalty and add your race points to get your score.

Race points are the points per second.

So the winner gets compared to the rest of the world and you are compared to today’s winner.

Simple? Try to explain this as cocktail party conversation. Probably towards the end of the party would be best.
