Logistical information Accommodation (World Cup Rules Art. 13)

● Booking according the FIS Rules via FIS Online registration system ● The OC offers following accommodation (full board included):

o Three star hotel Rantasipi Rukahovi next to the venue: 110 € per person in double room, 145 € single

o Three star apartments (RukaTonttu, RukaSuites, AurinkoRinne, RukaVillage, Rantasipi apartments) next to the venue: 110 € per person (minimum number of persons occur)

o Three star hotel Holiday Club Kuusamon Tropiikki in Kuusamo, 20 min drive from the venue (2 km skiing track beside the hotel, shuttle service available)105 € per person in double room, 140 € single

● Additional information about the accommodation will be given to the teams after receiving preliminary entry and accommodation request

● Limited amount of accommodation available next to venue, mainly for quota. For outside of the quota also self-catering holiday cottages/apartments at Ruka area also possible request.

● Price for additional accommodation outside of the quota: 115 € per person in double room or apartment (minimum number of persons occurs) at Ruka and 110 € per person in HC Kuusamon Tropiikki.

● Price for additional single rooms outside of the quota: 160 € We retain the right for changes. Transport (World Cup Rules Art. 11)

● Official airport : Kuusamo and Oulu ● The organizing committee will arrange transportation between the airports and

the hotels. 1 transport (from and to the airport) free of charge. Price for additional transport:

− 140 € for Kuusamo airport (up to 7 persons=140 €, 8-17 p.=205 €) − 585 € for Oulu airport (up to 7 persons=585 €, 8-17 p.=680 €) − 540 € for Rovaniemi airport (up to 7 persons=540 €, 8-17 p.=620 €)

● Information to the Shuttle service - (hotels – venue) : no shuttle service (walking distance). Shuttle service available for the teams living in Holiday Club Kuusamon Tropiikki.

Payment (World Cup Rules Art. 10 and 13)

● Accommodation costs: Teams will pay directly in the accommodation office until 25th November (persons from the pay lists will be paid by the OC directly). Over quota costs are to be paid by cash or credit card.

● Carrying costs/Reimbursement :

− Expenses sheets will be received in financial office during the race

weekend or by e-mail: [email protected] or [email protected]. Payments will be done by bank transfer.

Waxing facilities (World Cup Rules Art. 14) ● Wax cabins : available from 20/11/2017 at 12 :00 ● Waxing trucks : teams arriving with trucks have to inform the OC before

12/10/2017 ● The keys to the cabins are available at the competition office. The deposit is 100

€/team. Keys return to Ski Cafe/service area on the day of departure. ● Parking cards can be picked up at the competition office same time with the

keys. Regulations of radio equipment/Radio Frequencies:

● The import, export and the operation of radio equipment in Finland is regulated by national law. Permits for the use of radio transmission equipment must be requested according to national specifications.

● The Finnish Communications Regulatory Authority (FICORA) controls the use of radio frequencies in Finland and ensures that a sufficient number of frequencies are equally available, in order to ensure all users are able to operate in a cooperative and legal manner.

● Each user of a radio transmitter subject to license must obtain a license granted by FICORA. FICORA assigns the frequencies to be used. It is prohibited to use any other frequencies than the ones mentioned in the license. ● Official airport : Oslo Airport Gardermoen ● The organizing committee will arrange transportation between the airport and the

hotels. 1 transport (from and to the airport) free of charge. Price for additional transport:

− Price 35 Euro per person from Oslo Airport to Lillehammer (one way) ● Shuttle service will be provided between the hotels and the CC Stadium


● Accommodation costs: Teams will pay directly in the OC accommodation office or directly to the hotel. Over quota costs are to be paid by cash or credit card.

● Carrying costs/Reimbursement : − Expenses sheets will be received in the financial office during the race

exact measurements of the truck and details of the needs ● The keys to the cabins are available at the race office in the venue. The deposit

is 100 €/team. Keys return the race office on the day of departure. ● Parking cards can be picked up at the competition office same time with the

Special permissions for truck driving

● There is no need of special permissions for truck driving on Norwegian roads. No special rules and regulations, except for the normal Norwegian weather and snow conditions and the need of snow tires.

Income tax information for prize money:

● The current Norwegian tax rate for non-resident athletes is 15%. ● Due to a special tax convention between Norway and USA and Russia, income

tax will not be deducted by the OC – “the income shall be taxable only in the State of which the sportsman is a resident”

● Tax will be deducted by the OC according to the Norwegian Foreign Artist Taxation Act, and taxes will be paid by the OC according to the regular tax legislation in Norway.

● Additional Parking cards for the waxing area “Stilli” have to be ordered until latest 29/11/2017 by FIS registration-form and can be picked up at the race office in the stadium.

● Official airport: Zurich (ZHR) ● The organizing committee recommend to travel with the public transport from the

airport to the venue or hotel (duration 2.5 h). ● The OC offer a shuttle service to the airport Zurich. If the teams or athletes are

interested in this service they have to contact the Head Office [email protected] until the 30th November 2017. One shuttle service per team is free of charge, additional ones will be charged.

● There will be no transport provided by the LOC from Lenzerheide to Oberstdorf, team have to organise that by themselves.

● The shuttle service within the destination can be ordered by the Head Office (have to be ordered in advanced).

● At competition days, a Tour de Ski Shuttle drives regularly (each 10-15min) from Valbella, Lenzerheide to the venue.

Payment (World Cup Rules Art. 10 and 13) ● Accommodation costs: ● Teams will pay directly in their hotels (persons from the pay lists will be paid by

the OC directly). ● Carrying costs/Reimbursement :

The organisers pay for the travel and living costs (accommodation, food etc.) according to the conditions mentioned in the World Cup rules art. 10. Travel expenses will be paid once and by bank transfer by the organisers to the teams at the last resort.

Waxing facilities (World Cup Rules Art. 14) ● Wax cabins : available from 28/12/2017 at 8:00 ● Waxing trucks : teams arriving with trucks have to inform the OC before

15/10/2017 ● The keys to the cabins are available at the race office. The deposit is 50 € or

CHF per key. Keys return to Ski Cafe/service area on the day of departure. ● Parking cards can be picked up at the race office with the keys.

● Trailer prohibition In winter season, there is a trailer prohibition between Chur and Lenzerheide and also between Tiefencastel and Lenzerheide. If you arrive with trailers, please order a special allowance to drive with trailers. The head office can help you with the application.

● Snow chains, snow removal Lenzerheide is on 1475 meters altitude. Please make sure that you bring snow chains with you. If there is a lot of snow, snow chains must be installed between Churwalden and Lenzerheide and between Tiefencastel.

● Highway Tax Sticker for all cars, vans or trucks (vignette): In Switzerland you need a „highway tax sticker“ for every car, van or truck. You can buy the sticker on every gas station and at the boarder. The tax sticker costs CHF 40.00 (driving without a sticker brings along a penalty fee of CHF 200.00). The sticker is valid for one year. To get to the venue: Please take the highway until Thusis and follow the signs to Tiefencastel, from there it takes you 5 minutes to get to the venue

Parking

● Parking space is limited. One car per team will be allowed at the team area. Please pick up your parking permit at the accreditation centre.

● Wax trucks will also need a parking permit. Please apply early enough for a parking permit for your wax trucks. For a perfect organisation, please order your needs such as power, cables etc. in advance.


● Prize money: We kindly ask the teams to tell us the bank details of the athletes in order to pay the prize money. We do need the following details in order to pay the prize money (IBAN / BIC / complete Adress). If we don’t hay those details we are not allowed to disburse the money!

● Accommodation costs: The Team accommodation responsible person has to get in contact with the accommodation office (opening hours page 39). There he/she will receive an actualized voucher with the calculated and paid quota by the organizer (ÖSV). Over quota costs and extras have to be paid directly from the team itself in their team accommodation in cash or by credit card.


● Wax cabins : available from 22/01/2018 ● Waxing trucks : teams arriving with trucks have to inform the OC before

15/11/2017 ● The keys to the cabins are available at the competition office. The deposit is 50

€/team. We reserve the right to keep the money until the cabin is cleared and clean.

● Parking cards (one per team) can be picked up at the accreditation centre. ● According to FIS Rules (Art. 12.1.6.), teams arriving with a wax truck, will not

receive any wax cabin but only changing space according to the FIS Rule. (12.2.)

● Official airport: Oslo Airport Gardermoen ● The organizing committee will arrange transportation between the airport and ● the hotels. 1 transport (from and to the airport) free of charge. Price for additional

transport: 20 € per person one way. The amount will be deducted from the reimbursement.

● Shuttle transport is offered between Radisson Blu Park and the venue. Scandic Holmenkollen Park is in walking distance from the venue.


● Accommodation costs: The teams will pay for the accommodation in the reimbursement/financial office at Holmenkollen Park Hotel. Persons from the pay lists will be paid by the OC directly. Teams (team captains) will pay directly to the hotels for all extras (room service, movies, drinks etc.)

● Carrying costs/Reimbursement: The Financial Office is located close to the Service Center and will be open from Thursday-Friday.08.00-20.00 and Saturday-Sunday 08.00-15.00

● All payment will be done by bank transfer


● Wax cabins: available from 05 March at 08:00 ● Waxing trucks: teams arriving with trucks have to inform the OC before

● Accommodation costs: The World Cup organization in Falun will reimburse the free nights for red group and COC leaders together with the compensation for


travel money, after the competitions, thru bank transfer. Deduction of hotel bill for red group qualified competitors´s free nights, directly when paying the hotel bill, will not be possible.

Special permissions for truck driving

● No permissions needed. Income tax information for prize money:

● Each athlete who receives prize money for the first time in Sweden have to present a copy of his/her Passport

● Each athlete is responsible for informing FIS ([email protected]) of his/her bank and personal details. FIS’s database will be used for the payment of prize money.

● Income tax for a citizen in an EU/EFTA country is 15 %. ● Income tax and social contribution for a citizen in another country than EU/EFTA

is ● 35,32 % if the prize winner is born 1990 or earlier ● 32,25 % if the prize winner is born 1991 or later ● Citizens from Switzerland, Canada and USA can reduce the tax burden to 15 %
