Firstly pets, (animals that people keep at home), are very popular especially in Europe, Canada and the USA. cats, dogs, rabbits are Quite communally kept, there are many others. Pet animals are a lot different to wild animals because they relay on there owners to look after them, whilst animals living in the wild hunt for there food and find there own shelter. Endangered speciesAn endangered specie is a type of animal where there are only a small number of them left in the world, so are at risk of becoming exscinded. There are about 2,060 spices that are under fret of extinction where 1436 of these are in the US alone . There are a lot of things that effect

the endangered animals and some ways are in our control…things like cutting down trees; trees are home to many animals. We are also polluting are environment and waters, killing off wild life..

Adaptation

There are animals living all around the world some in all different climates. Animals usually have certain features to help them live/survive in their environment, weather its hot, icy, populated or even under water or up high from the ground.

A Chameleon is a special animal who have a special feature that allows it to almost instantly adapt to its environment. They do this by changing colour to make it unable to be seen by predators. This is call becoming camouflaged.

Food chainA food chain shows how each living thing gets food, and shows you how nurturance and energy past from creature to creature.A food chain usually starts off with a growing organism getting its nurturance from the sun, this process is called photosynthesis. Then it go to a creature that would eating it. Finally It finishes with an animal that eats other animals in the process. Some food chains are longer than others.
