Mental Health/Socio-Emotional School Counseling Intern
n Execute school social work and counseling practices in collaboration with, and under direction/supervision of the lead Counselor. n Create and implement therapeutic interventions for the purposes of
fostering better mental health and positive learning environments for students
n Foster healthy families through community and school programing, including, but not limited to: parent education and community service
n Provide various levels of counseling, including crisis and referrals
n Perform Trauma and Crisis intervention
n Attend IEP and inter-departmental meetings for students receiving counseling services
n Develop individualized treatment plans
n Collaborate with the school’s student support team
