SUNDAY SCHOOL 9:30 WORSHIP SERVICE 10:30
From the Colemine
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his pur-
pose. Romans 8:28
I have been doing a lot of travelling lately. First we flew to Las Vegas for a four hour layover. Then on to Boise,
Idaho to help my son and his wife move to Springfield, Missouri. Next to Grand Island, Nebraska for Annual Con-
ference, then off to Barbourville, Kentucky for the ASP Mission trip. All this in a span of two weeks.
A few little delays and detours took place along the way on these trips. We had a delay on the connecting flight
from Las Vegas to Boise. The GPS took us down some interesting side roads on our way to Springfield. When I
went to Grand Island I got lost trying to find my motel. Then coming back from Kentucky we missed a turn in the
highway and took a little detour. None of these things really caused a problem, it just took a little extra time.
Life is like that sometimes, it is filled with delays and detours. But Romans 8:28 tells us God can work these things
out for the good. God may not cause our detours in life, but God can make things work out for us in the long run.
Let us put our trust in God that things will work out according to his purpose.
Pastor Steve
