Mary’s Meals --- Our Lenten Ministry

Did you know you can feed a hungry child for a full school year for just $21.00? Mary’s Meals provides a daily meal within a school setting to attract 1.6 million of the world’s poorest children into the classroom.

The cups at the front of Holy Spirit and St. Lawrence Church represent what the children use to eat their daily meals. Please take a cup and return it to the tables during Holy Week, holding your Lenten almsgiving.

Last year our donations at Holy Spirit Church fed over 175 children for a full school year! A total of 93 cents of every dollar collected will go directly to feeding the children.

Let’s break the cycle of poverty by feeding both the bodies and minds of God’s children. May God bless you for your generosity!

***** If anyone would be interested in purchasing a Mary’s Meals t-shirt ($23) or sweatshirt ($32), please call the parish office and place an order with Mary Jo by March 20. Delivery would be approximately early April at the parish office.
