MINUTE FOR MISSION: BIHAR

Bihar is a poor State in northern India west of northern Bangladesh bisected by the Ganges River about 60% the size of Georgia with 100,000,000 people (75% Hindu and the rest Mus-lim) that was long known as “the graveyard of missions” due to the resistance of its people to the Gospel. But in the last couple of decades this has changed, and there have been large people movements to Christ. Through the Frontier Fellowship, we have supported local evangelists in Bihar by sending new indigenous teams in India to share the Good News of Jesus with four unengaged, unreached people groups. Funds for this project cover annual ministry and living expenses for church planting teams snd providing equipment such as au-dio devices with Scripture in numerous languages, musical instruments for house churches and motorcycles or bicycles for Indian evangelists and church planters traveling long miles to reach the millions of unengaged peoples in northern India.

We support this work in Bihar through our Missions budget.

We fed 95 Wednesday with 7 cancellations. We did however have 16 no shows. We also sent food to the Soup Kitchen tonight. We sent chicken, rice, cabbage, cornbread/rolls, carrot cake, chocolate Italian Cream Cake and cookies. They were able to feed everyone who was there and make some takeout plates for some shut ins. My granddaughter made the statement to me that she was in an aggravating situation recently. She said that she had to stop and ask herself if her face showed Jesus. That has stuck with me and made me pause and think about my face and reactions to situations. A smile can never hurt the cause!!!! In Christ, Faye
