After the successful editions of Batna (2006), Oum-El-Bouaghi (2012) and Guelma (2014). The Laboratory of Applied Zoology and Animal Ecophysiology of the bejaia university (Algeria), suggests organizing the fourth edition of the International Colloquium of Algerian Ornithology. This year, and given the enthusiasm of our Maghrebian colleagues for the previous meetings, a North African dimension is given to this scientific event, with the organization for the first time on a regional level of the First North African Congress of Ornithology. The theme held this year, for both events; “The Birds of North Africa if front of Global Change”. The two meetings will certainly provide an opportunity to enforce a network of Maghreb ornithologists and by the same to create a scientific journal dealing with the Birds of North Africa.

Instructions to AuthorsAbstracts of papers must be submitted in English and French language on a maximum of one page (A4) for both abstracts, with single-spaced. Written in Word, Times New Roman font, size 11. The abstracts must contain: the title of the communication (centered in bold 13 capital letters), the names and first names of the authors (centered in 10 normal, underlining the name of the communicant). The postal and e-mail addresses of the authors (centered in 10 normal) and the key words (5 words at the bottom of the text of the abstract). Only scientific names are to be drafted in italics.

The works presented can be submitted for publication in the Proceedings of the Congress. The manuscript may be written in French or English language. It must be a maximum of 10 pages (A4); Formatted in Microsoft Word 2007; Top, bottom, left and right margins should be 2.5 cm. The text of the sections: Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and Discussion in Times New Roman, 12 point, single spaced, full justification. The bibliography in Times New Roman, 10 point, single spaced, full justification. Their quotations in the text are as follows: Sibachir (2006); Benyakoub (2008); Médail and Quézel (1997); Gros-Désormeaux (2012); Mittermeier et al. (2004). The references cited in the text should appear in the list of references (and vis versa).

The participation fee covers; Full-board accommodation for three nights (23 (Dinner only), 24th and 25th October 2017) the fourth night is charged to participants, conference documents and the post-congress excursion. Payment of fees is mandatory for all participants, including members of the Scientific Committee, unless otherwise specified.
