he beauty pag-eants, First Miss India’21 and First Miss Teen India’21 are a unique blend of glamour and el-egance contrary to

the traditional state of pag-eantry, happening on a na-tional level in India. Em-powering young women while allowing them to grow and develop a posi-tive self-image is the focus of the All -India beauty pageant. City First brings to you the 15 shortlisted

participants from the Delhi auditions who were also part of an exclusive ultra-glam show on First India News, which will be telecast today, Saturday at 7:55 pm, showcasing their confi-dence and talent, and at 2:25 pm tomorrow, on Sunday! First Miss India is the initiative of Jagdeesh Chandra and First India which cele-brates the idea of beauty in its totality.

With its recent audi-tions held in Delhi on September 5, the se-lected participants were welcomed to Jaipur for the next round. The next round was an introductory

and talent round.

Jagdeesh Chandra graced the occasion and conveyed his best wishes to all the participants. Anita Hada, Gaurav Gaur and Akank-sha Bhalla were on the judging panel. All the par-ticipants displayed their love for the ramp and shared their passion for the world of glamour. Tanvi Purohit, Kavya Kapoor and Shreya Khanna were declared the top three fi-nalists after the next round.

First Miss India is gener-ating a lot of excitement across the nation, with au-ditions for registered par-ticipants scheduled in some of the major cities of India. The audition will be held in Chandigarh on September

19, followed by auditions in Jaipur on October 8, Mum-bai on October 10 and the Grand Finale in Goa on October 30.

A grand cash prize of Rs 5 Lakhs to the win-ner, 2.5 Lakhs to the first runner up and 1.5 Lakhs to the sec-ond runner up will be awarded along with the prestigious crown of ‘First Miss India’ and First Miss Teen India’21. The winner will represent India inter-nationally. DIVYA CHAUHANDivya, 22, is a Physical Sciences graduate from Delhi

University who is currently awaiting the merit list of the Delhi Police. She likes to shop and party at the Hauz

Khas village, black being her favourite shade. A fi tness freak, she enjoys working out at the gym, playing

badminton and dancing.

MUSKAN MULCHANDANICurrently a grade 12 student, Muskan likes all things blue. In her lesiure time, she chooses to

explore the city and travel to the newer parts of the world. She also likes gaming and dancing. Her go-to chilling spot is the Red Fort. She is a keen reader and

likes to explore new places and things.

MUSKAN RAJA graduate from DU, Muskan believes that her

confi dence enabled her to venture into modelling. For her, being on the stage is very fulfi lling and when not shooting, she loves to dance. Her favourite hangout spot is the Red Fort

KANGGANA MALIK

The 17 year old model is currently pursuing a diploma in

Fashion Communication from Pearl Academy. Her hobbies include

travelling, styling, cooking, singing, reading books. Her favourite

colours are lavender and pastel red. Her favourite place to

spend time in Delhi is Khan Market.

KAVYA KAPOOR

The 22-year model has pursued graduation in English Literature

and is currently studying law as her post-graduation subject. Her hobbies

besides modelling include acting, dancing, travelling. Her favourite colours include black, white and red. Her favourite place to chill

in Delhi is Cannaught Place.

NEHA JAISWAL

The 23-year-old model holds a degree in B.Tech with a specialisation in Electronics

and Communication. Her hobbies include dancing and swimming. Her favourite colours are white

and pastel. Her favourite haunt in Delhi is

GUUNJANGuunjan, 20, is presently

pursuing BA programme. A dedicated model, she also enjoys

pursuits like dancing, acting, singing and everything that is creative. A fan of the blue and purple colours, she is an ardent admirer of fashion and make-up. She loves to spend her

days off at the gaming zones and play to her heart’s
