Preparation We first looked at tulle material to create this fire look, we looked on different websites that sold this material and we bought some red and orange tulle material from online which was around £5. Shown below is the material we were going to use.

However, this tulle material didn’t look as good as we thought and we then decided to use tissue paper that we could rip up into smaller pieces which would then look like smaller flames.

Creating Whilst Soraya was away, Lucy and Issy created this board. It took about 4 hours in total from cutting to sticking with the help from a couple of other people from media.

The finished board! We decided we didn’t need to fill the bottom of the board as Soraya would be standing in front of it. We liked it being outside as the wind made the ‘flames’ flicker which made it look even better.

Filming Here are some images taken when we filmed. We only used a brick wall at school as it had good lighting and the wind blew the board to make it look like the flames were flickering. We used a tripod to keep the camera steady and chairs to lift the board.
