This exhibi t ion features Liv ius Haerer ’s more recent works. I t includes Spiegelschrank, a fur-ni ture piece inspired by porn-design of the 1980’s. The ex-hibi t ion also includes so what , an instal lat ion that upon f i rst g lance appears as a s imple chandel ier, but under fur ther in-spect ion reveals i tsel f as prod-uct of Ikea lamp components. I ronical ly the cost of th is l ight is around 2/3 less than i f i t ’s e lec-tronic components were con-vent ional ly bought at a regular hardware store. The remainder of the lamp pieces are shat-tered and strewn on the gal lery f loor and are fur ther assembled to create a table. This p lays wi th the value-free recogni t ion of the prevai l ing condi t ions and is an expression of creat ive en-deavor to break through con-formist mechanisms.
