Find the Software Center to installPremiere Elements 12.Search for “software” in the start menu.

Inside the Software Center tick the box against Adobe Premiere Elements 12 under the Available Software tab. Then click “Install Selected”.

Installation Status will indicate the state of the install process.

When the software is installed it will appear under the Installed Software tab.

Locate the program in the start bar and double click to open.

On opening, click “Video Editor”, then click on “New Project”.

Click on Add Media from the tool bar then locate the media you want to use inThe edit from the Files and Folders icon which will browse your computers hard drive.

Click and drag and drop the media on to the timeline.Imported media will appear under theProject Assets tab.

To cut a file on the sequence, place the play-head over the area you want to edit and press the scissors symbol.To delete a clip make sure it is highlighted (is brighter in hue) first as this is how PE12 knows which section you to work on.

Drag the dissolve or text title you want to usefrom the menu and drop it on the timeline.

The transition menu is located on the right below the timeline.

To create a transition such as a dissolve or fade out.

The same applies for Text and Titles.

Place play-head over the section you want to edit.
