2. You were thinking about buying a watch and gloves for your dad, a bracelet for your mom, and a journal for your sister. You don’t know yet what to get for your friends.

3. Look at the different advertisements to help you decide what to buy. Can you buy everything you need for $35? Use the Comparison Chart to help you see the cost of all the options.

4. When you decide what to buy, write it on the price table in the “Spending with $35” Column. Did you spend less than $35?

5. You also want to save some money this year. Can you buy all of the birthday gifts for less than $35? Remember that you can also make gifts or offer services. Write what you buy in the “Spending Less Than $35” Column. How much did you spend?
