All of your clients’ account information can now be viewed in one place and through a single login. The portal gives you instant access to view portfolio details, notifications about your clients’ accounts and to download documents – all at a time that is suitable to you.

SECTION 2: NEW USERS – INITIAL REGISTRATION

Prior to your initial login, our Intermediary Support Team will issue you with a username and a temporary password. If you have not received these details, please contact the team via phone on 016 333 604 or email [email protected]. When you are logging in for the first time you will be prompted to finish the registration process, this will include the following:

1. Creating a new permanent password

2. Completing the password reset functionality should you forget your password in the future.

Creating a New Password

As a new user who is logging in for the first time, you will be brought to the screen opposite to create a permanent password.

1. Must contain all of the following:

a) at least one uppercase letter

b) at least one lowercase letter

c) at least one number

d) at least one of the following special characters: ! “ # $ % & ( ) ` * + , - / : ; < = > ? _

2. Must be 8-16 characters in length.

3. Must not contain a repeating set of 3 or more characters, ie. “aa” is allowed, but “aaa” is not.

4. Must not contain spaces.

5. Must not contain the username or reverse of the username.

6. Must not contain any part (first or second) or the reverse of any part of the user’s name that is longer than 3 characters, ie. “Ed” is allowed but “Eddie” is not.

Once the registration is completed, you will then be able to reset your password by clicking on the “Forgotten your password?” link on the login page. An email will be sent to the email address linked to your account allowing you to reset your password. It is important to note that if you enter the incorrect information 3 times or more the account is automatically locked out. If this occurs, please contact our Intermediary Support Team who will have to unlock your account before you can log in again.

While this section can be bypassed for a fixed period of time (60 days) we would recommend that you complete this section when logging in for the first time. If you do not complete it within the 60 days it will become mandatory and you will not be able to access the home page until you provide security answers to all the questions.

When you have logged into your account you can change your password, security questions and memorable passphrase or PIN by clicking on your username in the top righthand corner and selecting “Preferences”.

SECTION 3: EXPLORING THE PORTAL

Home Page


The home page provides a brief overview of your firm and your underlying linked clients’ accounts.

The Total AUM, including split between asset classes and Number of Active accounts can all be viewed here.

From here you can also navigate to other pages for more in-depth information on your clients.

Quick View (Home Page)


While still on your own Intermediary account, from the Quick View you can select from multiple tabs. Here you will also find your linked clients most recent Contract Notes and Documents, which are easily downloadable as PDF files.

To use one of the automated statements, please navigate to the Reports tab, where you can choose from several pre-set reports.

Commission Statements


Commission Reports are exported from here, either via Excel or PDF. These reports will include the client reference and client name for the remuneration being received and date funds transferred to your nominated bank. Reports can be run from January 2019 to date.

All Client Holdings report is a bulk valuation export for all the clients linked to your firm.

New Notifications Tab


This tab alerts you when documentation has been uploaded. The notification will inform if the documentation is for one of your clients or for your own intermediary account.

An email alert will also be issued when new documentation has been uploaded, asking you to log in to the portal.

To View One of your Client Accounts


Click on the Select Client in banner.

Pop-up window will appear with a list of all your clients. This list is fully exportable and has overview of their account to include, Total AUM, Cash and Stock view, Date client received last correspondence and the AML status for Individual & Joint accounts.

Note: This list is automatically filtered by “Last Document Date”.

This list can be filtered and sorted by different headers by choosing the “Action” drop down list.

Click on “Select Client” beside the specific account you wish to view. Alternatively, if you are in a client account and wish to go back to your firm’s home page, choose your Reference from the top of the pop-up screen.

You will now be brought to the Home Page for the specific client account.

Client Transactions View


In the Transaction View you can see all historical transactions for your linked client’s account back as far as1st January 2019. This is a read-only view but can be exported in the Reports tab.

Client Holdings


In the Holdings View you can see your client’s current portfolio.

Contract Notes


In this view contract notes, since 1st January 2019, for the specific client’s account can be viewed.

Documents


This view contains all the documents and correspondence issued to client via the portal.

Important to note

- Transactions can be exported from the 1st January 2019 to date

- Valuations can be exported as of Close of Business previous day, Month End values back to January 2019 and then for the UK tax period as at 5th April.

My Notifications


Your linked clients will receive notifications from Cantor Fitzgerald any time a new document becomes available for them. All new notifications will be shown in the “Unread” tab and the client can view any previous notifications.

Note: Intermediaries will not have the ability to mark a document as read for one of their linked client accounts.
