Today’s working environment often requires individuals to broaden their skills and possess a working knowledge of business practices, principal amongst which is an appreciation of finance and accountancy. However, many individuals believe they have a mental block when it comes to figures and are consequently nervous of dealing with financial information.

This course takes the fear out of finance by removing the myths and explaining financial and accounting concepts in a manner that is straightforward and easy to grasp. By attending this course, delegates will establish a working knowledge of finance and develop a firm understanding of its role within their organisation. They will also learn how financial information and budgets are compiled, interpreted and used to make business decisions.

Furthermore, delegates will acquire the skills to run budgets, monitor department costs and assist in the preparation of financial information.
