So.. About that final project thing...Hadar Geva | MID 2013-14

Since expo 2015 central theme is food, which has a strong cultural element,it can be used as a platform to connectbetween different cultures.

Creating an experience around the city dealing with expo’s events can be an opportunity to break the boundaries between cultures, habits, traditions and prejudice by connecting people using a simple, lovable and highly relatable element: Food.

The Brief

The challenge presented is how to create mutual understanding in a way that will not be forced or too “educative”, but more playful and fun?

What is a playful way to connect people?

How can people be motivated to participate in the experience? how to engage people?

How can we encourage them to see the importance of understanding each other?

what does it mean to connect food with a culture?

How to connect culture and a place?

What are potential models of interactions?

How to use the city facilities to enhance the experience?
